Yan Ling (Sunny) Sun was born in Harbin, China and immigrated to Montreal, Canada at the age of 22.

Before wading into the earnest waters of oil painting, she began her artistic journey by becoming a succesful and passionate hair stylist.

Self taught, she spent countless hours refining her painting skills by trial and error. Always eager for her next challenge Sunny has always felt the need to step outside her comfort zone and produce more and more complex art pieces.
